Training or Re-Assessment?

While training is not a pre-requisite of ACS it is important to consider the following points when deciding whether you require it or not:

1. Do you work across a range of jobs such as:

• Gas Installations
• Services
• Commissions
• Breakdown and repairs

2. Is this done across a range of appliances and flue types?

3. Do you receive and read technical updates and standards?

4. Have you had any update training over the past 5 years that relates to gas safety?

5. Are you aware of the latest Legislation Changes?

If you are unable to answer yes to the majority of these points then you should consider refresher training?

Also please remember that as legislation does change regularly in the gas industry, some training may be mandatory regarding specific gas courses.
